I loved the scent of Cool Water so much that to get the full effect of it I also used the deodorant, shower gel, shampoo, aftershave, hair gel, moisturizer, and a folded Cool Water scented advertisement from either Men’s Health Magazine or GQ Magazine placed in one of my pockets. Whenever you were around me in those days, you could not miss the seductive scent of Cool Water radiating from my body and you could not light a match near me because I was highly flammable. Speaking of being hot, that’s what the ladies would feel after getting a whiff of my “man aura. ” Whenever I came walking by, women would step aside and watch me glide. Some would turn their heads away, while others would walk further away to ensure they wouldn’t embarrass themselves by jumping my bones in public. Sure, I never got laid while wearing Cool Water, but I guess that just proves I was too sexy with it on. So instead I must settle for the Bath & Body Works Men’s Cool Spring Shower Gel, which contains aloe to helps soothe and soften the skin, tea tree oil to invigorate and refresh the skin, and comes in a manly turquoise color. After using it, I could not tell if my skin was invigorated or refreshed, but I think for most men they really don’t care about that.

Fire & Axe ( Asmodee Editions, 2007 вЂ“ Steve and Phil Kendall ) was on my list of most anticipated games from 2007. A reprint of Viking Fury (by the Ragnar brothers ), I had heard many good things about the game; and the Viking theme, along with the fact that one of my favorite companies was producing the game, certainly attracted me вЂ“ I played it eagerly. The game has since become so popular that it has continually seen play in our gaming group вЂ“ a few folks have declared it one of their favorite games. And I certainly see why, itвЂ™s full of theme, wonderful bits, and interactive, enjoyable game play. Yet something holds me back вЂ“ and itвЂ™s easy to identify вЂ“ I donвЂ™t necessarily enjoy the luck involved in the game. Sure, I donвЂ™t mind dice or luck in games, but to me, there are a few rolls, which make or break the game, and IвЂ™ve seen players lose the entire game due to poor rolling. Still, the game was enjoyable despite this, and perhaps IвЂ™m a lone voice in the crowd (I certainly am against the group here!) . Fire & Axe captures the imaginations of players and gives them a lot of good, interesting choices for an immersive experience. There are a decent amount of rules in the game, so IвЂ™m going to give a briefer overview of whatвЂ™s going on than I usually do. Basically, players each have a ship, into which they can load goods (skins, tusks, and furs) and crewmen.
